This sounds pretty interesting. I believe it's Dream Theater's "Progressive Nation" tour that is stopping in Asheville. I used to be a huge Dream Theater fan until I guess I grew out of it and they quit releasing good music (to me). But Freaking Zappa Plays Zappa is totally awesome and would kills to see them. A lot of guys that actually played live with Zappa back in the day and Dweezil put together some amazing guys for their tours last year.

I know some of you guys are giddy about seeing DT though, I don't think they have ever played in NC. Who's going?

^^ I agree, not big on DT at all really anymore, but Zappa plays Zappa would be so amazing to see. Wouldn't be as awesome to see them on a festival though as their set won't be nearly as long as their headline tours. I want to see those guys play for hours.

Beardfish is a fantastic band. I saw them in Chapel Hill a few years back.

Zappa Plays Zappa puts on a great show too. They came to the Lincoln Theatre last year.

I'll probably be catching the show with Queensryche August 1st instead of Asheville.
