Obviously not serious enough, the risk/reward to taking steroids is still out of whack. Chance of getting caught and losing 50 games... millions of dollars... I'd take that chance over and over. Just because you get caught doesn't mean they take away the money. Until they do that, players will continue to cheat.

I wonder why in the hell he thought taking a hormone that the body makes absolutely none of was a good idea? Hell, it's screened for as an early marker of testicular cancer and supposedly has a long half life too. What a dumbass. These guys make the kind of money where they could go to China and fuck around with their gene doping programs, yet they take stupid risks with drugs they might show up positive for on tests. The sad part is that he was most likely taking HCG along with or after coming off of other banned substances, yet this is what he got caught for.
