with compression i think you know how so i imagine you must mean without any compression? are you looking for a 1-click type app

Yeah, without compression.

And nevermind, that would be something like 15 DVDs

yeh blurays are up to 50gigs.

good quality h.264 compressions are around 9gigs so you could fit that on a dual layer DVD.

how much is BR media down to these days? how much are the burners?

anyone ever put a BR on a DL dvd?

a 25gb disc is between $3 and $5, a 50gb disc is $10, a burner is about $200.

I've put blu-ray rips on dvd-r dl's mainly just through mkv2vob though. i've authored dvds using the blu-ray file structure but only another computer would support that.
Only sony's 50gb blu-ray discs ever work for me, of all the 50gb disc brands.

at 10.00 a disc it doesn't seem very cost effective atm.
