I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it has the "homelink" system http://www.homelink.com which allows you to set your garage door openers etc. to work wit the buttons in the car.

I was reading on their site and it looks like you can use it for gate access if you have a transmitter. The gate I would like to set this up for only has a keypad so didn't know if there was a way to get this to work. I doubt there is from what I read but didn't know if any of you had experience with anything like this and getting it to work.

wire in a receiver to the gate controls and then program your homelink to it.
