I've always been a very good natural swimmer. Swam summer league countless years when young and was on my HS's team junior and senoir years (we won States both those years). I was never a front runner but was always nipping at the heels of the year round swimmers. I didn't care enough for a year round commitment though. Even in college almost every year I'd win my events in the intramural swim meet, despite never practicing
