My sister has a mini yorkie that won't quit barking. I hate it when I go to visit her. I like cats because they aren't quite as noise. All the dogs in my neighborhood where I grewing up, either bit people, shit on everyones lawn, or barked so much that they had to be removed from the neighborhood.

We had a Jack-Russell Terrier and a Beagle-Walker mix that didn't mind thunderstorms until they got really old. My dad is a vet and he never gave them pills to "cope" with a thunderstorm. It is natural to freak out during a thunderstorm but it was a sign of old age in the dogs. We would just put the dogs in a crate until the storm passed. When it got to where low flying planes over the house started to freak him out, we had to put him down.

My dog used to get nervous during storms. Wasn't annoying tho she would just hide under the bed.

Now she can't even hear storms.
