cape lookout is nice, but i really liked the currituck lighthouse better. i think i just like the brick look.

LOOK OUT!

Those would be the only two lighthouses in NC I haven't seen. I think Currituck and Bodie Island are essentially identical except for paint/lack of paint, but I'd still like to see it anyway. Thinking about a northern Outer Banks trip later this year, which would take care of it...but Cape Lookout, not so much.

seriously, it's not like it's gonna kill ya to read it, and it is solving all the little shit (as well as the big shit- could you imagine 20 people out there with 1 3x3 table and 1 2 burner grill to use? cause had that chain not been going, that would have been what happened...)

i like shack- we paddled over there one trip up the little creeks... our return was blocked by this one horse that wouldn't get out of our way (just stood out in the "creek"- it was all of 2 feet deep)... so we just sat there and drank beer till he moved. It was awesome

cape lookout is probably my favorite patterned light house, but i'm partial to bodie island and cape hatteras because of my childhood proximity.
