its housed in BELL housing. the clutch is attached to the flywheel, which is bolted to the crank which is in the motor.

^ I thought the flywheel was normally on top of the pistons son... I realize now that the flywheel is on the MOTER of the CAMERO SON.

THE CLUTCH IS NOT ATTACHED TO ANY PART OF THE TRANSMISSION, IS IT SON?

Anyway, I found out today that the bell housing is not part of the transmission housing and thus is not associated with the transmission son.
