Anybody got a line on where to pick open top 55 gallon barrels w/ lid and clamp around Raleigh. Making a couple of smokers for my brother. Free would be great, $10-15 would work too.

word has it that there are a bunch stacked up behind the storage shed to the east of hodges on campus, just wash em out damn good

No- go on any drums east of hodges. There's a dude on 401 near Wake Tech (on the right, Go-Slow towing) that sells cookers, barrels, drums, etc. Ended up paying $35 for a barrel and lid. Hell of alot more than free, but it beat driving around all over the damn place looking for one. On a time crunch for this one.

I got mine near there, from a guy who has a powerwasher sales/service business behind the Miami Subs. $15, exc. shape, with lid and clamp.
