this has been a topic of disucssion between cody and me for quite some time.when you watch the sprinkles you can actually see it refilling in the jug "magically" if you will.weird looking.

My contention with this commercial is that there are really only 9 sprinkles on the original ice cream, not 10 as is claimed.Unless I'm trippin', but I count every time it comes on and I can only see 9.

maybe the refilling of sprinkles indicates a growing verizon network[Edited on May 30, 2009 at 9:20 AM. Reason : ]

i still want to know if there are 8 million sprinkles in the jug
5/30/2009 12:56:44 PM
there are 10
5/30/2009 12:58:08 PM
yeah, i counted 10 as well. But when he first starts pouring the sprinkles out, it looks like none go away from the jug for the first couple of seconds, then the jug finally starts to empty after there are already a bunch of sprinkles on the counter

the commercial just came on and it is kinda freaky how the container refills itself for a little while before it empties....

Let's do the math:1 x Sprinkle ~ 1mm x 1mm x 4mm... Thus, 1 x Sprinkle ~ 4 cubic millimeters1 x Container ~ 1 gallon (or 3.78541178 liters)... We know, 1 liter contains 1,000,000 cubic millimeters... Therefore, 3.87541178 liters contains approx. 3,785,411.78 cubic millimetersDoing the math:3,785,411.78 cubic millimeters ----------------------------- 4 cubic millimetersSolution: 946,352.945Therefore, these calculations show that the average 1 gallon container can hold up to 950,000 sprinkles (rounded up).Double check my math (my alumni brain might not be as sharp as it was a few years ago).

It does look like they did CGI for a secondary mound of fake sprinkles.
