Lucky!! I have been hooked on Dancing With the Stars this season, and I want to learn all the ballroom dances! I just wish I had realized this about 10 years ago. I've been looking for classes around here, but havent found any. I'd be interested in taking some while I'm in Raleigh this summer though.

you know, i'm not a dancer...i've always been a bit shy because i don't feel like i have any natural rhythm...the gf asked me if i would take the first session with her (once a week for 4 weeks) and then if i didn't like it, no worries...that was 2 months ago

i really found that i enjoy it...i don't think i'm great, but i don't think i'm awful, either...it's surprisingly fun, and argentine tango is a bit more improvisational than a lot of other ballroom dances, so it's easier to learn (because there aren't really any specific moves to learn)

i can (and do) shag already...i took lessons at red's a few years back when they were off falls of neuse road

the gf salsas at red room on occasion, but i've never tried...that's definitely a "i like to watch girls do it but i too much of a pansy to try it myself" kind of thing
