1) Replacement Gillette blades, especially the newer models. 5 Fusion blades (or is it 4 or 6?) for almost $20? WTF? Yeah I know each one has 5 blades, but still. Anyway, I still have my trusty several year-old Gillette Sensor Excel 3, with 3 blades, and I think even those are too expensive. So for the time being I bought a few packs of Gillette Blue 3s, which are disposables with 3 blades, and they cost just about half of the Sensor Excel 3 replacement blades.

2) Starbucks food. Went there the other day and got one hot drink Tall size (smallest size) and a cake dessert. $11? Bastards. I bet the raw materials for both cost $2 max. And I only go there 2-3 times a year, so don't get at me for supporting the evil bastards, because I don't.

Post your entries plz.

Gasoline

Oil is $66/Barrel and the current national average for gas is $2.488/gal.

does not compute.

And they hardly ever put out coupons for these. It's the best razer ever made, though.

I don't know if milk should be as expensive as it is, but it's pricey enough to keep me from buying it a lot of time: I'm not paying for a gallon or half gallon so that I can use 4 cups before it goes bad. If it were cheaper, I'd be a lot more okay with it going to waste. Currently, it's mostly a supplement to ridx.

Yeah, the Mach 3 is expensive as fuck too. I decided this weekend to just bite the bullet and buy the $40 pack at Costco. That should get me through about 6 months I think.

Beer at minor league baseball games. I mean really, why should I pay $6 a beer to watch never-will-be's throw the ball around?

Actually, now that I think about it, beer in general is expensive at pretty much all events. They must make money hand over fist with that shit. I mean, I can buy a case for the price of 2 beers at the Greensboro Coliseum.

"Replacement Gillette blades"

Replacement blades for 3-4 blade womens razors are over $12 for 4 blades at Wal-mart. Four disposable razors with 3-4 blades runs 4-5 bucks.

Yay throwing away more plastic!

I don't fuck around with imitations when it comes to razors though. Food Lion has a brand of Mach 3 type razors. I tried it once to save some money. Notice I said once.

Insulin pumps. $7000 for mine with no more than $300 total manufacturing cost in the entire thing, for certain (it's plastic with a black and white lcd screen, a tiny motor, some simple but high quality buttons, and it has a blood sugar monitor on it).

These things are so cost prohibitive that peoples' lives are at risk because of it. Some insurance companies won't let their diabetic patients get insulin pumps to start insulin pump therapy because the fucking things cost so much. My new one also is already falling apart and wasn't built as well as the old v1.0 model that I had (apparently this thing bumped into the wall or something which caused a crack in the housing, whereas I dropped the old one on concrete numerous times and it never had such an issue).

shower curtains

when I was shopping for my new place, the cheapest one I could find was $11. What about a piece of plastic with holes in it costs $11

I use a different razor for the sensitive areas...any old 3 or 4 blade usually does a good job on my legs.

I don't trust myself to use an old school razor. especially for those early morning shaves when I am half-asleep and hungover.

Not just minor league; US Cellular field in Chicago had beer for the same price. And a Margarita was $6.75, though I'm told they didn't skimp on the liquor.

Uh, no my insulin pump was made in Minnesota and I would only be paying $700 out of pocket for the thing. Actually it was $126 total because my old insulin pump was worth $500 on a trade in. The point is that the base cost, here, in the American market is far too high for these relatively simple electronic devices. I do not want to leave this country, ever, for my healthcare needs and will not do so, ever, unless things completely tank. That would just make problems here worse and would involve me giving money to some people who I don't want to have my money anyway.
