no, my computer speakers leave much to be desired.and yeah, you're right, lossless isn't necessary for the vast majority of digital audio... but i'm just one of those people that likes to have everything lossless for some reason. not to mention, if you rip a CD properly and store the FLACs with a CUE, you can basically recreate a replica of the original CD, which i like in case something happens to the original.it's also nice for vinyl. maybe i'm imagining things, but i can hear a definite difference between a V0 MP3 and a lossless version of a vinyl rip.storage is so cheap now that i don't mind an album taking up 300MB. that's a hell of a lot better than double the size as a WAV. and, honestly, 320k and V0 VBR will take up like a little less than 1/3 of that space... that seems like a fair trade to me.

yep.all of my stuff is either V0 or FLAC... if you look at the spectral analysis, 320 is really a waste of space compared to V0.
