Parents coming into town, want to take them someplace w good food, but not that long of a wait since we only have like hour and a half or so before leaving to the airport.

Where do you live/where are they meeting you or coming from? How far you are from the airport could make a big difference.

fairly close to the airport, you could just go from either of those. Wait time isn't bad for either. Both have good food. Both have nice dining rooms that are kind of away from the bar area. Briar Creek isn't far from the airport, plenty of places to eat there. Again, it really all depends on where/how you're meeting up with them. Are you dropping them off at the airport, or just meeting them for dinner?

omg i agreed with slave famous on something. if my parents were coming to town i wouldn't normally go to fudruckers BUT given the circumstances (the airport and time limitations) i think that going to some place like that (maybe out in brier creek) could be your best bet. you could just go to like, the ale house out there.

oh ok so then you could go somewhere fast downtown / in the ncsu area! just go to like the rockford or the times or something and eat a yummy sandwich and then bounce to the airport.

If they're intending to pick you up, eat, drop you off, pick her up and leave... that could get a little tight. I'd probably stay fairly close by or somewhere fast.

But you could always just meet them somewhere instead of them going to your place (unless they have a reason to). if you can do that, you could meet them downtown on their way in, or head toward the airport (Cary, N. Raleigh) so they're close by when you're done. That would leave a bit more time, and a lot more options.

I'll add Jibarra to the mix as well.
