Real slow road construction, bunch of trucks road blocked all 3 lanes for about 5-10 minutes before letting us go.

That normal?

Could be perfectly normal. Might've been fixing up a patch that was put in earlier today.

Sometimes when it gets hotter (as today was pretty hot) concrete highways will expand to the point where they buckle in one spot across all the lanes. They then have to go in, remove that buckled crap, then patch it with asphalt.

But yeah, there's plenty of patchwork to be done on all the area highways in the way of potholes and cracks with us actually having had ice this year.
