Tyler's Taproom in Durham has the Big Boss seasonal.....drank a few a couple weeks ago. You remember what it's called? Was good but definitely crept up on me

Horniblow's is straight though, smoky as shit but pretty laid back

I like this place... except for the one time that the bartender didn't serve me for no good reason... i was 22, so age wasn't the issue- Our best guess was that I was the only one that walked in there with a pastel polo shirt, khakis, and rainbows that night (and you could tell that this was not how that dude rolled)


I literally had to have my friends buy my beers for me and bring them to me (and he cut off 2 other friends when he found out they were getting them for me). I wasn't drunk or anything coming in either (I hadn't had anything to drink before I got there)




all the other times I've been there, I have had a great time (even got to sit down and talk with one of the owners one night)
