Using "www" in URLs is dumb and unnecessary. Why the fuck do we need that? The only possible advantage I can see to using that convention is to make clear that something is a website address. If a computer illiterate sees "cannab.is" they likely won't recognize it as a website address -- but "www.cannab.is" looks more like one....
