would you rather be on a small 4 passenger plane or a large one?[Edited on June 16, 2009 at 4:36 PM. Reason : you will be going up in the air]
6/16/2009 4:36:09 PM
small passenger one...i hate most people, so the ratio would be lower. plus germs. plus you probably get a better view. plus its more personal.
6/16/2009 4:37:01 PM
well there's more room on a large one so if you wanted a quicky and not shift the weight of the plane entirely during intercourse, i'd definitely go large.
6/16/2009 4:37:15 PM
Large.Passenger planes seem more rickety.
6/16/2009 4:37:35 PM
I enjoyed my first time flying being a small plane.
6/16/2009 4:37:39 PM
hahaWhat if you are afraid of heights and dying in a plane crash?
6/16/2009 4:37:52 PM
big plane- it is less scary... little planes bounce around alot more (especially a little 2-4 seater...) and feel alot less stablethey also make more weird noises
6/16/2009 4:38:02 PM
large - the shitty/new pilots get put on the small planes...[Edited on June 16, 2009 at 4:40 PM. Reason : i assumed you meant commerical...]
6/16/2009 4:38:07 PM
nvm[Edited on June 16, 2009 at 4:38 PM. Reason : .]
6/16/2009 4:38:41 PM
Agreed. My SO has never set foot on a plane and this guy offered to fly him in a little plane for his first time. I couldn't understand the logic behind it so I decided on a tww poll.
6/16/2009 4:39:23 PM
largesomehow I feel safer, like, there's safety in numbers or something]
6/16/2009 4:40:10 PM
when I consider airplanes I'm primarily concerned with the number of engines on the aircraft, and the number of engines necessary to maintain level flight of that aircraft.large planes usually come out ahead by that metric, but I wouldn't be opposed to flying on a smaller airplane assuming it had at least 2 engines
6/16/2009 4:42:08 PM
Plus big pilots have a shitton more experience. Also, I always hear about more small plane crashes than big ones in the news, so ...And turbulence, forget it! Any little bump will toss a small plane around. But this guy was adamant that a small plane would be better for first time flight.
6/16/2009 4:43:39 PM
Obese pilots have more experience, you heard it here first folks
6/16/2009 4:45:31 PM
Well yeah, they've been sitting in a plane longer hence the reason they're obese!
6/16/2009 4:46:41 PM
personally i just said what i said cause it was obvious which one you wanted ppl to say
6/16/2009 4:47:20 PM
haha it was? whoops
6/16/2009 4:47:52 PM
no way would I suggest a small 2 seater plane for somebody's first flight over a larger plane
6/16/2009 4:49:25 PM
I would not suggest a small plane to anyone who gets the slightest bit of motion sickness, Cessna size planes can easily go up or down 10 - 20 ft in a second in turbulence. And by turbulence, I mean calm, steady air for any commercial plane.
6/16/2009 4:51:24 PM
smalli flew my first time in a small two seater "crop duster" style plane and it was cool. i pretty much could tell my father-in-law whenever i wanted to end the flight. i actually enjoyed the entire flight and didn't want to come down. if you fly commercial, your stuck for the duration of that flight--whether you love it or hate it.
6/16/2009 4:51:46 PM
the only thing i could see possibly being better about a small plane for the first flight is that you might get a chance to take control of the stick for a bit (it feels alot different flying a plane than it does riding in one- you really don't even notice the big drops cause of turbulence when you have control of the plane)
6/16/2009 4:52:19 PM
6/16/2009 4:53:57 PM
^^true. i had the controls for a little while. really neat experience. i wish my father-in-law would get his license back.[Edited on June 16, 2009 at 4:54 PM. Reason : .]
6/16/2009 4:54:33 PM
i'd fly my own small plane
6/16/2009 4:54:49 PM
is the plane on a treadmill?
6/16/2009 4:56:07 PM
my first flight was to england when i was 13 and then i flew a glider while i was over there.
6/16/2009 5:06:55 PM
First time on a plane? I'd ask if I got some kind of pin or certificate for my new membership in the Mile-High Club.BUDUM-CHING!
6/16/2009 5:07:56 PM
6/16/2009 5:10:29 PM
first time = small plane. shit was tight son.my first time in a helicopter was like with the vertical takeoff and all. badassness.
6/16/2009 5:23:20 PM
He wants to fly because we are going to travel and flying is the most convenient sometimes, he's just a bit spooked, especially when a damn news story pops up about a plane crashing.I've been in puddle jumpers that hold maybe 16 people and THEY suck at turbulence. I did not enjoy those rides so I could not imagine a smaller plane!
6/16/2009 5:25:18 PM
^^^ MEOW. You can pin me anytime, baby.
6/16/2009 5:44:03 PM
ugh.
6/16/2009 5:44:40 PM
6/16/2009 5:48:45 PM
I prefer GA aircraft
6/16/2009 5:49:24 PM
For those of you who are saying GA aircraft you're nuts.If you've never been on a plane before AND are nervous / scared of heights, I'd suggest a commercial aircraft. It's definitely more comfortable in something with air conditioning and pressurization as opposed to being bounced around in a Cessna while looking straight down at the ground.
6/16/2009 6:03:10 PM
large
