would you pay $275 for a used but like-new 32gig iPod touch?
6/17/2009 3:52:43 AM
i'll start the bidding at $1
6/17/2009 3:54:23 AM
I don't have one. I was offered this deal, held it in my hands. Probably would have impulse-bought had I had the cash on me. didn't know they made 32 gig touches till tonight, I don't keep up with this stuff, but that was the first amount of disk-space that justified one of these things as a viable investment to me. they go for 400 new, figured it was a decent deal, and my current iPod is on its way out.
6/17/2009 3:58:14 AM
32 gigs?NOT BIG ENOUGH
6/17/2009 3:58:34 AM
it's the combination of 32 gig disk space (plenty of room to keep my current interests in rotation) and INTERNET that intrigues meprobably gonna go with it
6/17/2009 3:59:35 AM
lately i've been wanting an itouch and that thought morphs into "well why not just get an iphone so i could have all in one" and then that morphs into "i wish it wasnt $texas/per month"
6/17/2009 4:10:55 AM
i would get an iphone but my contract with verizon has over a year leftfigure i'll dick around with this thing for a while and re-evaluate in september of 2011 when the iphone will either be way better or someone else will have a truly comparable device
6/17/2009 4:15:20 AM
forgot about those internetsword
6/17/2009 4:19:58 AM
first srs answer:yes.
6/17/2009 7:06:01 AM
3G iPhones are so ridiculously cheap right now i almost considered buying one...
6/17/2009 7:18:11 AM
32 gig isn't big enough. I hate the idea of having to keep stuff "in rotation" I want my entire collection at my fingertips.edit: then again, i also have an iphone...sooo yeah. [Edited on June 17, 2009 at 8:23 AM. Reason : k]
6/17/2009 8:13:27 AM
until there's an ssd ipod with 150+gB, im sticking to my 160gB classic with keeping the phone seperate.not having what i want on hand is irritating[Edited on June 17, 2009 at 8:39 AM. Reason : g1 phone]
6/17/2009 8:39:12 AM
I'd probably try to come up with the extra $100 for the comfort of having a new one. In other words, the price point isn't low enough to buy used (for me).
6/17/2009 9:10:26 AM
How is 32 gigs not enough for you people? Are you that lazy that you can't switch music out once a week? There is no way you listen to all that in a week anyway (think it's about 7000 songs). Sure, I have more music than too. But I enjoy having a fresh library every now and then.
6/17/2009 9:25:54 AM
DudeYES
6/17/2009 9:27:18 AM
^^srsly, I'm content with the ~3500 I have on my 16 GB player. very rarely is there a song I want to hear at the moment that isn't on it. If it is, all I have to do is end up at my laptop later to switch it out.]
6/17/2009 9:28:47 AM
I don't know how people have so much music. I've downloaded like a madman for years, pretty much anything I think of and I still only have about 11 or 12 gigs of music...
6/17/2009 9:33:50 AM
damn i remember when i used to have a 256MB mp3 player, it'd hold a handful of albums, and I was happy as a clam.
6/17/2009 9:36:13 AM
^^up past 120gigs now, and I know several people in the music thread have a lot more than me Have a friend that has over 300gigs but he is a total music whore[Edited on June 17, 2009 at 9:36 AM. Reason : ^^]

6/17/2009 9:42:10 AM
i mean do you people REALLY listen to every one of David Bowie's albums?come on. I don't mind not having some of my catalog on hand at all times, we all know it boils down to compensation
6/17/2009 9:47:05 AM
Just scooped one of those sandisk clip mp3 players from woot....now I have to decide which 2 gigs of music to cram into that thing for the gym mix. Will definitely have to rotate regularly
6/17/2009 9:53:43 AM
6/17/2009 9:58:33 AM
i have a 2gen 16G that i bought from someone on craigs for a steal...and i mean literally.16Gb is plenty for me. i dont mind rotating my music.
6/17/2009 10:08:44 AM
I've had a 4 gig since 2005, holds about 800 songsNever really gave that much thought to upgrading because I don't listen to it 24/7 like some people; just when I'm running or traveling
6/17/2009 10:12:05 AM
Jesus, you people listen to a lot of music.
6/17/2009 10:21:02 AM
and still no FM tuner?WTF ORANGE
6/17/2009 10:21:14 AM
i would say yes, if you have the money.while i have a 'smart phone', i sorta love the apps and style of the iphone. but i wouldn't ever pay the monthly plan cost from at&t. so an itouch is a pretty good compromise. i bought a new nano a few months ago and sort of wish i got a touch. but cheaper = better atm.
6/17/2009 11:21:35 AM
geez my ipod is teh suck compared to everyone elses
6/17/2009 11:23:26 AM
WTF IS AN ITOUCH? FFS, IT'S AN IPOD TOUCH NOT AN ITOUCH.
6/17/2009 12:37:38 PM
because saying itouch is easier than ipod touch.
6/17/2009 12:40:13 PM
Saying your mom is a whore is easier than your mom is a cum-guzzling prostitute.
6/17/2009 12:47:04 PM
