This was Monday night so it's probably old to a lot of you, but I didn't see a thread about it so here goes. Artie Lange from the Howard Stern show making an ass out of Joe Buck on the first episode of his new HBO Show.

http://deadspin.com/5292467/watch-artie-lange-crap-all-over-joe-bucks-first-show

There are 2 different segments but I can't find the other one right now. I'll keep looking.

I don't have the internet know-how to embed the videos, so if someone knows how to do that shit please share.

Got a call yesterday from Baskin Robbins. They said that they're down to only five flavors. You're swelling up as I talk to you.

This is one of the most uncomfortable and real moments I've ever seen on television.

Artie Lange is awesome.

The funniest part is that Joe Buck's 10 and 14 year old sons were in the audience

If it wasn't for Artie's antics, no one would be talking about the Joe Buck show right now

the first segment with Favre was garbage.

Stern and Co. were kissing Lange's ass yesterday, saying he saved the show with his performance. But then again Stern and Co. live in bubble set atop an ivory tower so what do they know (and yes I enjoy listening to him).

I agree, the Stern show definitely makes Artie out to be a Golden God. But I have to admit, that shit was funny. And apparently Joe Buck is a Stern fan, so I would think he would have known what would go down if he tried to match wits with Artie.

I didn't even know Joe Buck had a new show until all this Artie shit came out. If Artie wouldn't have been on there and pulled these antics, I still probably wouldn't have known. The folks at HBO need to thank him, not criticize him.

Oh definitely, there's no question that Lange's antics generated the kind of controversy that will get people to watch the show. Otherwise, nobody would be talking about it, at all. I saw it was coming on Wednesday night and I decided to watch something else b/c I had no idea Lange was going to be on.

One thing is clear - Buck is in over his head. Lange proved it, and if anyone listens to Stern, Lange does tend to go overboard from time to time, especially now that he's cleaned up his life (well, gotten off the heroin anyway). Lange outshined Joe Buck, much to his apparent dismay. He should have rolled with it.

I have an autographed copy but I haven't read it. I think I am going to pick up a paperback copy to actually read.

I'm gonna be honest, I hate Artie Lange. I love the Stern show, but it was much better when Jackie was around. Maybe it's because Artie is a cocksucker about the Mets...

I don't think it was better with Jackie, but it was different. I will admit though that I liked Artie a lot more when he was on heroin. He just talks too fucking much now, and he just seems like a bitter asshole.

LOL he gives no quarter to the Mets, that much is true. Others have voiced a similar opinion with regards to Lange vs. Jackie, but Howard seems to be happy that Jackie is gone, he takes shots at him anytime he can.

The only thing that REALLY bothers me about Artie is how he tries to throw money at everything. His solution to every problem and his winner in every argument is the fact that he has money.

I mean last week he offered those strippers $7k to have lunch with him, and he had that shit on him in cash. Does anyone realize what kind of a wad 70 $100 bills makes?

It certainly hasn't made him a happier person. I was lol when Mary Ann from Brooklyn told him he'd be nothing without Howaaaad.

I think Artie is funny, but not really any funnier than the average comedian. He doesn't have anything that makes him stand out. Had it not been for the Stern show, no one would know who he is. And he freely admits that.

He is witty, but yeah there's nothing that necessarily makes him stand out. He's quick with a one liner and is a funny guy. He just needs to bring it down a notch.
