New thread was asked and so I went ahead and made one for the new season.

This off-season proves to be an even crazier one than what was anticipated for last season, since everyone thought Ronlawldo was out last summer...

Already nuts as Real Madrid have spent over $220 mil on two players, Kaka and C. Ronaldo. Man Utd are looking to spend now after receiving some real madrid benefit package, and it seems chelski and liverpool are not gonna let them get too far ahead as they are willing to spend.

Here is the schedule for the first month, and at some point Man Utd will play Chelski in the community shield or charity shield or whatever its called (im assuming they are still doing this game haha) for the millionth time this millenium...

United given a pretty easy start with the first 3 games but man do they ever need it....perennially slow starters. Man Utd vs Arsenlol in august should be a dandy...

of the top 4, arsenlol prob got the worst draw for their first 4 games, which contrasts their slack schedule start last season

ahaha i just read that man utd made some sort of offer for fernando torres for 40 mil, im not sure i believe that...i cant imagine benitez selling him to ferguson for any price..

man i was just looking at the 3 "strikers" at man utd and this is interesting, especially to everyone who says berbatov had a terrible season:

Quote :
"As of End of Season 2009.

Berbatov :
- - Goals : 9
- - Assists : 10
- - *ACTIM Score : 586 (4th overall, highest United player)
- - **Scored Winner in :
- - - - - United 1 - 0 Middleborough - 29th December 2008
- - - - - United 1 - 0 Bolton - 17th January 2009
- - - - - United 2 - 1 Tottenham - 24th January 2009
- - - - - United 2 - 1 Newcastle - 4th March 2009

Rooney :
- - Goals : 12
- - Assists : 7
- - *ACTIM Score : 423 (32nd overall)
- - **Scored Winner in :
- - - - - Man City 0 - 1 Man Utd - 30th November 2008
- - - - - Man Utd 1 - 0 Wigan - 14th January 2009

Tevez :
- - Goals : 5
- - Assists : 3
- - *ACTIM Score : N/A (not in top 100)
- - **Scored Winner in :
- - - - - Stoke 0 - 1 Man Utd 26th December 2008

* ACTIM Index takes distance run, completed passes, goals, assists, every contribution into consideration.

**Every goal is important I know but just a list of games we won by one goal and the vital goal being scored by these players.

And this is Berbatov having a poor season..."

[Edited on June 17, 2009 at 11:40 PM. Reason : e]

[Edited on June 17, 2009 at 11:41 PM. Reason : also read somewhere that tevez is going to man city...]

http://actimindex.wordpress.com/premier-league-actim-index/latest-index-premier-league/

anelka is #1 overall. prob cause he shot so much and i swear never got injured at all this season. this seems to be weighted heavily towards scoring a goal, or maybe game winners, not sure...but dirk kuyt is #2 showing his worth to that team. i lol at you guys who hate him, hes just like a tevez type player.

I've almost purchased his Celtic jersey before just to make them put his entire name on the back and see what the end result is on my back. He has by far the best name of any European as far as saying fuck you to the kit maker. Upon researching T.A. Flo's recent life accomplishments, he's now Hull City property according to Wikipedia?!??! EXPOSED????! If this is accurate information, I might have to replace my Norwegian national team FLO jersey with a TAMIL Tiger jersey.

much love to Tore Andre, he predates the Chelski years of Mr. Enchilada and Russian Moneybags. I never had a Chelsea Autoglass Flo shirt, but I do have my Norwegian circa 98 WC FLO 9 shirt.

You have define the FLO you are talking about though, there were 3 on the 98 WC squad.

arbelola wants back in la liga and i wont be surprised if mascherano ends up leaving for real madrid

we should form some sort of guessing game for where half of the netherlands national team from real madrid will end up this transfer market...im guessing they are getting rid of all dutchies

royston drenthe: monaco

klaas jan huntelaar: liverpool

arjen robben: inter milan

wesley sneijder: ac milan

rafael van der vaart: everton

ruud van nistelrooy: psv

lol if i even get one right ill be amazed.

Setanta losing the contract could be good use for everyone in the US who doesn't subscribe to them (which is basically everyone in the US). The rights to those 46 games are going to auction; ESPN is apparently really interested.
