Anybody got this for the Wii yet? I've heard great things, but wanted to know if anyone here has experienced it yet. Supposedly the best golf game a person can buy, regardless of system.

Basically, Tiger has been the best golf game for any system for quite a few years. I played 09 way too much on the wii last year, and if I bought 10, I'd do the same.

perhaps it would just take some getting-used-to but i've been playing Tiger Woods 07 for the past 2 years on xbox360 and upon playing the demos for 09 and 10, i MUCH prefer 07

For PC people (aka losers):
They didn't bother coming out with an '09 last year. This year I heard it's going to be an online only thing. Like you go to a website, download a plug-in, and you're off, like a flash game or something. So I guess there's no '10 title for the PC... as far as I'm concerned.

I've got it for Wii with Motion Plus.

I was hugely anticipating the first Tiger for the Wii and severely disappointed. This version has so far made me 100% happy and addressed just about all the motion and control issues I had with the first one.

I still suck as putting, but it's not nearly as frustrating as it used to be. This time at least I know I suck because of my skill, not because of the bad putting system.

i had the same decision. But if you have played one tiger you have played them all graphics wise (at least with the new gen systems)

I went with the wii version don't regret it. The graphics aren't bad at all, not like other games i have seen on both. Def recommend the wii to play tiger like you never have before....

yea a friend of mine plays golf and i played with him the other night. i was surprised at how well his ability transcribed to the game. like he had no fade or draw on his club, where as i have to overcompensate a draw so i dont fade. i think its cool that someone thats a lot better than me in real life has that ability translate over into the game.

no its not just a flick of the wrist if you're playing with the motion plus. your distance is guaged by your backswing and speed of your follow through, so you take a natural swing.

it's pretty annoying when you're playing a 2 round tourney and you obliterate the field in the 1st round, only to see everyone come back and put up ungodly numbers in the 2nd round just to keep it from being too easy for you. More often than not it causes me to lose

Also annoying that it's impossible to gain a 10% skill bonus from your equipment and apparel in every category, even when you have every single sponsor

But despite my ranting, I love this game

The difficulty shoots up quite a bit with the wii motion plus. Interesting how much more I like the game because of that. Even if the graphics look like a PSOne.

Picked it up with the Motion Plus...it's hard for a shitty golfer like me.

The Disc Golf part is pretty badass, too.
