It first started when I came to Maryland to be a groomsman in a friend's wedding. I intended to come back to Raleigh in a month's time. However, I was offered a place to stay for the summer, while I try to enlist in JobCorps. Since then, cddweller has found a job in MA, where she will be for a while.

It will be at least a year before we can see each other on a regular basis again. If I get into the program I want, I will be in Pittsburgh. Other people have fared through worse and come out on top. We are both in crappy financial situations, so living together is not an option until all that goes away.

I think it'll be just fine.
