My 2 roommates and I are moving out of a house we have lived in for 3 years. Lots of shit has accumulated over the years. We have a couple washing machines, 3 sofas, and other shit we need to unload. Besides Goodwill and places like that, is there anywhere in Raleigh you can take junk like this and just drop it off. Its all cheap stuff that is still decent but don't really care about selling it. Any ideas? If anyone is interested in anything let me know and I can hook you up!

You can take it to the landfill. They have specific drop offs for washer and dryers so that they can be recycled.

this doesn't help because i don't know the name, but i can find out...there is a place in raleigh(or the area) that will come PICK UP your unwanted sofas (and possibly other furniture). its like a goodwill/salvation army type thing. you donate the sofa and they will come get it from your house.

i will try to find out the name.

^^ maybe it was that, but i think my parents used a different one.

^ Vietnam Veterans of America in Garner.

There's also the Raleigh Swap Shop (which sounds like what you're looking for):
