I keep getting this error message telling me to check and see if the file I am trying to save (downloaded from my own FTP and not open anywhere else) is open in another program.

It saved ONCE, and then after that, errors every time.

Only happens on my desktop, not on my laptop at all.


Anyone ever seen this before?

1) Use the Unlocker Tool to make it go away
2) Tell Notepad++ not to automatically make backup copies in case you want to do.
3) Open a bug report on SourceForge (they actually do fix them)

Install process explorer and search to make sure something else doesn't have a handle on the file.
