you can change the default channel your box turns on to. Time warner sets it up so that you start on THEIR news channel. I dont have TW but if you need instructions I'm sure you could find it on WRAL's website easy; they advertise how to do it all the time so you can set it to their channel

the problem with being a large organization geared towards helping a certain set of people is that you are basically damned if you do and damned if you don't. you go after things and you are overreacted and you don't go after things and you are worthless to the people you support. The fact is that there is plenty of representation for the majority and not so much for the minority. Its like this in almost every situation. Its very rare that people ever like the minority representation. It is obviously going to be that way when the minority being represented started their relationship with the majority by being lesser people to a generation later holding up their hands and saying "hey we have no connection with that". there are going to be ill feelings on both parts. One side saying "oh here they going bitching again, just get over it" and the other saying "how can they think this is ok after all of the history we've had"

by the way, I don't know the specifics on that mascot. but if our band had to play "oh i wish i were in the land of cotton" i'm switching school.

white family being kicked off a boat really sounds unlikely to me. and the fact that they didn't raise hell makes me doubt the validity. They may have been urged not to be on the boat because of the type of event which is on it. but refusal of entry in general unlikely. with that said even the urging to not be on the boat is totall bs and they really should have raised hell. They did themselves a disservice by letting that slide.
