most times a mixed kid of any mixture is clearly mixed. its rare that they appear to be all white. when this does happen with a black person its typically because the genotype of the 'black' parent is significantly mixed as well.

i know many mixed kids but only one of the many I know doesn't appear anything but white. and in this circumstance her mother was creole.

those are not his kids, no matter what you want to believe.

I also find the children to be obviously mixed due to their complexion. They do fall on the lighter side than what you traditionally see in biracial children. But don't be fooled by their light complexion and "good hair." The children have that slightly tanned look and dirty blond hair that's so common in biracial people.

It's funny how you can tell who in this thread hasn't spent a significant amount of time around those of other races. Or they have, but were oblivious.

If they had, they'd have noticed how sometimes you'll get black-as-night children from two very light-skinned parents, and vice versa, and every other combination on the spectrum, with the offspring also all along the spectrum. And how this occurs across many, if not all, races.

If I could remember the name, place, or decade, I'd post an anecdote I remember reading in a paper about historical racial definitions (the "One Drop Rule": one drop of "black" blood meaning that a person is black, no matter what.) It was about the daughter of two slaves having wavy auburn hair, looking white (but a little tan), and hazel eyes. She was raised white by someone in the household, and thought the woman who raised her was her mother. She only found out she was black when she went to get married.

It'll be very interesting to see what MJ's grandkids look like.

Does the girl have blue eyes? Looks like it but hard to tell. If she does, that would be make virtually impossible for MJ to be the bio father. Not 100% impossible, but so statistically improbable to say that there is no chance in hell he is the father.

The dude wanted to make himself white. He evidently hated his African identity. This being the case I highly doubt he wanted kids who even had a chance of looking like what he hated.

So? Jackson would need to carry genes that would support blue eyes. His parents and grandparents, and so on, would have had to carry those genes for generations. I know neither of MJs parents had blues eyes, and I don't his grandparents did either. Even if the genes capable of producings blue eyes were introduced 4 generations backs, that alone would make it very, very unlikely for MJ himself to carry those genes.

Eye color is a bit more complex than two genes expressing green, blue, and brown. There is also hazel, gray, varying shades of color, and mutations. Scientists even pose additional genes and modifying genes that do things such as suppress brown.

There isn't enough information on Jackson's gradparents and great grandparents to make sweeping assumptions about their eye color. And just because something is improbable does not make it impossible.

And there are other pictures out there of Jackson's children that do not make them look quite so "white."
