damn, y'all get to choose your senior design project?

kind of. the professors all get together and come up with their own projects (in CHE its biofuel production mostly, although we had a beer brewing and there's often 1 nanotech project) and you choose your top three. However, you can also propose your own project, which is what I'm trying to do, and if it gets accepted then people apply to your project. I'm not sure how the team selection bit goes though. I think the professors just do it by GPA and other oddities. The faculty in charge of senior design has approved my project and I have 2 professors who would advise my team, but we just have to clear it with the professor at another university who has done a ton of work on it.[Edited on June 27, 2009 at 6:16 PM.
