I don't mean something like 500 pages...I'm talking about around 300 lbs. of documents. Know of anywhere that I can take them and have them shredded cheaply?
The onsite companies are a little on the expensive side. 7/1/2009 3:00:21 PM |

I'd give them a call. They come and do our shredding, although I don't know how much they charge. 7/1/2009 4:20:06 PM |

^ That was going to be my exact suggestion if you need something with a bit more professional of a touch to it. Otherwise, a good fire will solve many problems. 7/1/2009 6:48:17 PM |

why cant you call the city of raleigh and a recycling truck come get it?
I understand it could be sensitive documents, but its not like it would be sitting in the open for people to rummage through 7/1/2009 8:56:33 PM |

dunno how much you're looking to spend, or how much $ "cheap" is, but:

a sunbelt rentals wood chipper seems like it could be fun
the small one is only $100 for half a day

SECU occasional has a bring your documents in to be shredded day.... if you are a member, you may want to inquire. This is done at the Operations Center on Wake Forest Rd, so the branch may or may not know what you are talking about. Heck, you may want to just call a branch and ask if you can use their shredding.

Try using a drum and gas powered blower with a grate in the bottom.

a match is all you need. Just stir it with a pitchfork once in a while to make sure it all burns. Or, considering your penchant for bowel movements, you could use it for toilet paper. 7/2/2009 10:21:07 PM |
