damn I need to go see some new stadiums. I've only been to Fulton County while the Ted was being built, RFK while the new one was being built, and Camden Yard..

For some reason the new ones seem like they might be better than RFK and FC

Whose new stadium is that? It looks like it was done by the same company that did the new Busch Stadium.

^^Better chance for snow in Denver in those months, MN doesn't get as much precipitation. It is cold as fuck there though.

Interesting, so far this year the Rockies have had two snow delays, a lightning/hail delay, a couple rain delays, and a tornado delay.

Wait, why do you morons think I was trolling? Is it not going to be cole in Minnesota on April/October nights? I mean I got that directly from a Twins fan who grew up right outside the Twin Cities (my sisters husband).

^ I think Cisco Field got nixed in Fremont actually... but maybe I'm "misremembering."

I guess it takes a dumbshit Red Sox/Mets fan who grew up in the South all of his life and has never lived in either NY or Boston to assume that it's snowing just cause it's COLE?

Did it snow there? In October?

you could just say "yeah, I guess it doesn't snow there in October"

but keep it up

I was wrong. Are you happy now?

I'm so embarrassed that I didn't know it doesn't snow much in April or October in a place I've never been...

[Edited on July 4, 2009 at 11:55 AM. Reason : actually I've sat through a Mets game and a Yankees game in the snow fwiw... extremely rare tho]

Ok, when I move back to NC I'm going to go through Colorado, KC, St. Louis and Cincy (I'm doing this on purpose and it is no more than a 75 mile difference no matter what route I take).

I'm leaving Cali on 10th. The Rocks have a game against Pittsburgh at 6:40pm on August 11th. The Royals, unfortunately, are on the road (I wanted to get to a game there because it's so cheap and parking isn't an issue). The Cardinals are home against Cincy on August 12th at 7:15pm. The Reds are home against Washington on August 13th at 7:15pm.

My biggest issue is the parking situation since I'd rather not pay $20 to park my car for a game and have to find lots in an unfamiliar area.

I can do one of two things. Rockies game and Cards game. Or Rockies game and Reds game. If I choose the latter it allows to stay in Kansas City at a casino to have a chill evening for one of the legs...

Someone who has been to Busch needs to let me know if the stadium (which looks awesome) is worth the hassle.

Citi Field from a couple different seats, and Yankee stadium standing behind the $325 seats

this is one of the best seats I've ever had at any stadium...it's hard to tell from the pictures how good it is (Ebbet's Club or something like that) ... you can see the section in the top 2 pictures

Phillies fans are knuckledraggers. I honestly don't think I'll ever go to that ballpark because the only reason I'd ever set foot in that shithole city is to watch the Mets play the Phillies and even if I was on my best behavior I'd probably get savagely beaten and murdered in the parking lot.

** by the way, I decided to only go to the Cards game on August 12th versus Cincy. Staying right down the street from Busch...
