My parents and I were walking around the Golden Gate national recreation area, and there was a young kid handing out flags to veterans. He gave me one because he thought I was an injured soldier from Iraq

He was so proud to give it to me I couldn't break the news to him so I said thanks and kept on moving.

That's the second time that's happened, the first was on Veteran's day.

i went jet skiing out to Shackleford Banks, drowned ANOTHER cell phone (and this time also a digital camera), drank a couple of Newcastles, got a little sun, hung out on the beach, and came home.

^it's about time you invested in a dry bag... sure you might look gay wearing a fanny pack, but it will put an end to that (I wear mine whenever I go out on a boat)

I went to a small town firework show, and me and the wife went around the side the crowd wasn't on found where the mortar tubes were and sat just outside the danger fence. The fireworks were almost straight overhead and you could feel the blasts. Then we sat in the car with the radio on some country station and made out and stuff for half an hour till all the traffic had left.
