Looks like murder-suicide. The guy who owns the apartment came in through a locked door and found McNair on the couch with multiple gunshots and the girl on the floor with one shot and a gun nearby. McNair had a key to the place and often used it when he was in town. The girl was supposedly a girlfriend he's been seeing for a few months. She has an Escalade registered under her and McNair's names, and got arrested for a DUI a couple days ago with McNair in the car.

sure you can say what you want about a famous person's actions. i don't buy this "oh, I'm under too much pressure, I just HAD TO fuck that bimbo/stick that needle in my arm/shave my head/shoot that bitch/etc/etc/etc". I truly feel for McNair's family and friends and think he was pretty decent guy, except for this possible cheating thing... which may have lead to him being shot (not that he deserved it). however, I don't feel sorry for these stars in most cases - if shit's too tough for them, they have the means to get help, more so than anyone else. And they know that help is available, if they choose to fuck things up worse, then they deserve it (not talking about Steve).
