As you know, this past Saturday at 12:50 a.m. I received two phone calls of an obscene nature. I was asleep at the time as I had to wake up at 7 a.m. the next morning to go to a doctor's appointment as I had just had laser eye surgery. However, being awoken by two consecutive phone calls, I proceeded to listen to my voicemails and then heard the degrading content of the calls. I afterwards learned these calls were made from your friend, *****'s phone.

I truly do not care what your specific roll was in the matter. I want you to delete my cell phone number entirely from your phone and any other place you may have it. If you ever need to get in touch with me, you can do so through mom or dad. If you refuse to do this for whatever reason, I will have my number changed. I am 23 years old and will not be disrespected in that way ever again. In the past I have received inappropriate calls from your friends from your cell phone and I asked it not happen again. There is no excuse for this situation happening. I truly hope you never again treat anyone with such insolence as I feel you have treated me. Such messages left by males unknown to the person called and addressing the female specifically by name would not be found funny by any woman. I find it very sad you would allow this to occur.

I know we have never been that close, but I was actually trying to make an effort for us to have some sort of a relationship. Just a couple of weeks ago I invited you to dinner in hopes of us building a healthier relationship. Obviously that will not be the case. Mom and dad have been told of this matter, as at least for the time being I do not wish to be around you and therefore told them we needed to have separate family events. I think it is extremely sad that it has come to that; however, I cannot be around someone who has such a lack of respect for me, especially my own brother.

Again, the only thing you need to take from this email is to delete my number from your phone and if you also know it by heart, to never give it out to anyone else. If you had any doubt the prior times that I told you to make sure this didn't happen again, let me make it clear to you this time, I am serious. This is not to happen again.

obviously I don't know anything about this except what I got from the thread...

but honestly I agree with her. She took it rather far, but I think she had the right to do so if she wanted. If she gets multiple degrading phone calls, then she has every reason to be pissed; and if these are your friends calling, who got her number from you, then you carry a lot of responsibility and she has good reason to be pissed at you.

I am an only child, so I'm obviously speaking without any real knowledge of sibling dynamics; but dems is my two cents.
