Is there anyway to use Ajax to:
a) retrieve HTML pages
and
b) retrieve HTML pages through the anchor tag onclick method and a div element? eg
<a onclick="some_ajax_request()">link</a>
<div> My HTML will appear here </div>

Use prototypejs.org it's really clean and easy to use

tutorials and examples on their site on how to use it. You can use a Ajax updated to update a div with the retrieved HTML page or subcontainer as I like to call them since they aren't full HTML pages with headers and body tags.
