See, going back to my natural color after being dark for so long is difficult. I would either have to let my hair grow out for a year + or get the color stripped and fry my hair.

The best way to "go back" according to my stylist is to do heavy highlights all over two times and then just let it grow.

Well I can't speak for everyone on the natural thing, but for me my natural hair color (which at one time was really blonde) has become the equivalent of dirty dishwater. It's ugly, mousy, and I don't like it. So why should I leave it that way?

I apologize for implying that you don't know everything about women. I was under the impression that your reasoning for telling her to go natural was because it would be simpler for her. Which isn't actually the case here. Going back to your natural color is a long and drawn out process, as you would have to let your hair grow out entirely, ignoring the roots that show (because it's really hard to match a dye to your natural color from just the roots) and going around with your head all messed up until it's long enough to cut off the dyed part.

You just prefer a woman who is simple and doesn't dye her hair. That's cool, to each.
