theres nothing wrong with the way keys work now.If you had exclusively those then keys in pockets/purses would always get tangled inside the loops. If you only used one and ever had to take it off then you wouldn't have a key ring. Of course those are the two extremes...

mehhell, you don't even have to push a button on a keyless entry remote to unlock your car now. you just get close to the car. keyless entry for your house is gaining momentum, too. actual keys are only really needed for situations with dead batteries.i don't see this taking off
