I think this has potential, I hear the book it's based on was pretty good. Yeah Tyler Perry's name makes me cringe, but he's just helping promote the movie. It's clearly beyond anything he's ever put out.

I remember seeing the preview of this long ago; I was intrigued then, and I still am.

Oprah and Tyler Perry presenting it doesn't really give me pause at all. It's pretty clearly nothing like Madea goes to Space, and while I don't particularly enjoy Oprah, her book club picks are generally spot on.
