That is because it's a stimulant. Methylenedioxymethamphetamine son. Cocaine, regular amphetamines, ephedrine, etc should all have this effect on you son.

The whole "sex on e is great" thing is really only true for girls and even then it's not the best drug for it supposedly, but it gets twisted into "it's awesome for everyone to fuck on" by high schoolers and other idiots. I've noticed, more than anything else, it just makes you want to be all close to people. Touchy feely and shit. Doesn't mean your shit works though.


The best drug for sex for both parties seems to be AMT. Ask el b about that one.

^it was likely an antidepressant of some sort. lexapro, effexor, cymbalta - they all did that to me. then i got put on wellbutrin to "help with the diminished sex drive" and it only seemed to make things worse.

so eventually i quit all those bastards cold turkey

the first month i was on antidepressants was like the best month of my life. then the lack of sex drive sorta made things bad around the house, and after about 6 or 7 months i couldn't take it anymore so i just quit everything cold turkey. i was kinda loopy for a few weeks, but then i got back to normal.

nah, i got back to normal. i don't know if i was ever really depressed to begin with, to be honest. stuff just didn't feel right, i saw a doc, and within 5 mins he had me on some fucking pills. it's the reason i hate psychiatrists. he didn't wanna talk to me and work out my issues, he just wanted to medicate me and send me on my way.

Most birth controls tend to decrease a girl's libido, but Im sure it depends on the type and the girl. On the other hand, the pill makes girls produce more lubrication.

i took lexapro. i didn't like it for this reason, among other things. made me feel very strange.

i just got prescribed another antidepressant though, and so far, so good. i mean, depression/anxiety decreases your sex drive (or can) and so the medicine definitely hasn't decreased it any further than it already was!

Zoloft.

I was fine at 100 mg for several years. Then it became evident that I needed an increase in dose. The doctor had me go up to 150 mg and then I began experiencing difficulty achieving an orgasm. The difference that the Zoloft made in other areas was so great that I didn't really want to give it up, but I wanted my sex life back. The doctor has just put me on a low dose of Wellbutrin to fight the sexual side effects of the Zoloft. It's a little early, but I am optimistic.
