no mirrors on this tractor(farmall model A) and It was a tractor!!!...he even wrote approximate speed as 15 mph...

ridiculous if you ask me not to mention it was in my driveway.

going to check with the asst. DA and see if there is any way they can help. He even asked about my relatives/family that live in the area. Think he had it out for me.

I'm on the road all the time with tractors, as are a lot of other people in our area, and the cops leave us alone. All of our tractors are older with no powershift or other synchromesh transmissions, and if I can keep from downshifting I usually roll the signs where I can see what's coming.

Tractors, other farm equipment, and construction equipment are the keys here though. They don't use public roads as much as cars/semis/motorcycles. Their intended use is, in fact, off road on a farm or job site so they don't need to be registered and taxed like cars/semis/motorcylces. You don't even need a drivers license to operate tractors and such on public roads.

I don't think the cops have the authority to write you a ticket for driving performed on your private property regardless of what the sign says. The traffic laws only apply to public roads.
