random shit here:So if you get an invitation to a wedding or whatever, and they send an RSVP card with 2 check boxes, one to attend one not to attend, but theres also a place for your name and there is a big 'M' in front of the name line. Do you put like "r. Name" or "s. Name" or "rs. Name" or is the 'M' not for that?

Yes, the M is for you to write Mr. It looks like they were lazy and didn't fill out the RSVP cards with people's names themselves

put "Monsieur TreeTwista10"

this is quasi relevant.i got this book for my birthday last week and it is actually really helpful for situations like this. not this one in particular because i don't think that a lot of people are as confused by the M but, i'm just sayin.

i would not have known what the M was for

What if you don't want to be called "Mr", but "Dr". Do you just cross out the "M" and replace it with a "D"?
