So everybody has certain things they always do / bring to the beach. For me I always bring an umbrella, beach towel, sunscreen, plenty of drinks / snacks, beach chair, football, ipod / speaker dock, and sunglasses. I like to body surf, body board, play horse shoes, go for walks, ect.. What would those things / activities at the beach be for you?

last time i went to the beach it was just me and a towel. looking back its probably not a good idea to go swimming in the ocean alone and not letting anyone know where you are. that was probably 10 years ago.

I'm a beach hood rat. I'm there whenever I can be.

beach chair (with built in straps and napsack)
SPF 4, 8, or 15 sunblock (depends on a lot of stuff)
big towel
good book
car magazine
cooler with drinks and sandwiches (depending on how long I'm there I might forgo a cooler)
iPod and headphones (or if in a group a dock for speakers)
maybe a hat
tennis ball or football

shirt & sandals not needed.

Two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers.... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls.

I don't just "go to the beach" like its something to do

I see people there at 10 am, dont leave until 8 at night what the fuck

I'm good for 2-3 hours tops before I get antsy

Fuck just sitting there all day; I do enough of that at work

I have one of these chairs that has backpack straps and a pouch on the back. The pouch has:
- Bodyboard fins.
- Large Nalgene bottle liquor drink. Usually Rum-n-Diet Coke. 400ml liquor minimum.
- Gatorade.
- Beach Towel.
- Magazines/book.
- Sunscreen.

In addition I carry my bodyboard. Wrap the drinks up in the beach towel so they stay cool longer. The magazines will get wet from condensation, wet towels, and fins; but they're magazines so you're going to toss them anyway.
