In a new video message Yauch reveals that he noticed a lump in his throat, which has turned out to be a tumour. The rapper goes on to state that the growth will not affect his voice, and he has to undergo an operation shortly. This has, however, meant that Beastie Boys must cancel all upcoming appearances, and the release date of their album (PREVIEWED) will move back - we'll update you on its new release date ASAP. ClashMusic met the band recently, to chew the fat and discuss their new album 'Hot Sauce Committee Pt.1'. Obviously news of this had yet to break, with the trio in typically high spirits.
