the other thread was dead.

Michael Vick conditionally reinstated with a 4 game suspension...

Will a NFL team take him this year or will he be the ticket seller of the UFL?

I don't know why he needs a suspension when he's been out of the league for so long. And four games? That's weak. He should be able to find an NFL suitor if he can play 75% of the games. That gives him training camp + a month of games to get in-shape and learn his role.

4 games seems like a pretty safe balance. Lets him play yet gives a suspension beyond "time already served" which could set a poor precedent (and out of whack with what has happened in the past) for other guys who do jail time. 4 games will make noone ecstatic, but noone will be livid either.

I'll guess New England...

Belichek has turned countless guys who were nearly washed up into stars again.

He'd be an excellent fit and a scary threat.

Or Philly, solely because I don't think their fans really give a shit that he tortured dogs.

If the Saints even consider signing him I'm becoming a Texans fan.

I keep hearing NE being a serious contender. I am a NE fan, and not sure how much I like the idea. I never liked Vick as a QB, but he is a hell of an athlete. Would def scare the shit out of any def to see Brady in Shotgun, Vick in backfield, Moss/Welker/Galloway in Wideout position and Maroney or Taylor in backfield or split out.

If Vick goes to NO, New Orleans/Southern Mississippi will implode from the wight of Vick/Bush/Favre hype. There might not be any hype left for Brees.

PUT HIM BACK IN ATLANTA

although Ryan has been doing alright, I suppose

I figure he'd fit in good at Carolina. Make every formation a wildcat!

the Vikings might need a QB.. or San Francisco, or Seattle.. I don't think people in SF would like him at all, but if the Vikings signed him they could run pretty much the same offense if Tarvaris Jackson came in as the backup. He's not as good, but he's kinda similar. Of course that's if they don't get Brett Favre.

Although both Vicks are scumbags, you should probably post the correct picture. Mike was #7 (That is Marcus in the picture)

Whoever gets him will have to draft Tebow next year for the EPIC wildcat offense.

Actually I just read he's on probation until week 6 of the regular season where he can't play in any games but he can be on a team and participate in workouts/practice.

So I guess a team could get him and start prepping for him in week 6, but I can't imagine any team paying him that much.

By week 6, half the teams in the league will need a new QB anyways.

Screw the commissioner. Week 6!! Thats f'in crazy. The guy already lost $190 million dollars and two years of his life. Now you just want to pimp slap him when he's down. That's insane to me.

Vick was wrong to be invovled in dog fighting and he has no excuse for that. But he's done much more good in his life to make up for his faults. Ex. He helped pay for for the funerals of all of the students who lost their lives at the Virginia Tech shooting.

Speaking from personal experience when I've met Michael Vick he's been a pretty nice guy. He even signed an autograph for me when I saw him walking into his girlfriend's apt, clearly about to get some booty(I don't know many guys that would stop to sign an autograph for a high school kid before getting his game on).

Didn't he donate a total of $10,000 to VT after the shootings? Thats like...$312 per dead student...WAY TO OPEN UP THE CHECKBOOK MICHAEL

It doesn't sound like you're aware of this fact, but unless previously agreed upon in a contract, nobody owes him anything. The NFL exists to make money, not to make sure Mike Vick makes money.
