so i have two god uncles/aunts that are visiting and i just realized that the traingle doest really have too many tourist attactions.

im probably gonna take them downtown raleigh, eat, maybe take the segway tours, $35/person
go to the arboretum, maybe art museum

what would you recommend for a tourist visit?

by the way i checked online and believe it or not the only attractions listed were movie theaters...

God Aunt/Uncle sounds pretty lame.

Like those people that keep track of 2nd and 3rd cousins...I mean who cares?

god uncles?

they don't do it very often anymore but a ride / walk (as i think they have shut down the elevator) up to the top of duke chapel is interesting.

the nashar art museum, the old durham bulls park, the new durham bulls park and AHTD area, sacred heart cathedral the smallest Catholic cathedral in the US, natural history museum, whatever exploris was called (imax theater), the old capital building, JR dorton arena, the museum of life and science in durham.

there have to be a few good parks around (umstead?)

the nc museum of art

there is a link up in the thread that lists TONS of things to do in the Triangle area

It might help if you told us what your god uncle/aunt like to do.
