i generally don't browse wikipedia for the sake of browsing. usually just go there to look up something specific to settle a bet/argument.

Marvel comic book character biographies and storylines

Obscure villains

I also did a spell of reading up on Arnold Schwarzenegger's history (body building and film), then people that had a big influence in his life.

[Edited on August 2, 2009 at 9:18 PM. Reason : DC universe and the like is just too stupid for my taste]

I printed a picture of Ken Griffey Jr. off Encarta and hung it on my wall.

I read the hell out of wikipedia while I was in Iraq during times I was manning the squadron duty desk. If things were quiet, and you had finished mission planning for the next flight, and you'd watched the news cycle on TV repeat several times already, and you couldn't stand to study any more tactics or manuals, and there was nobody else available to throw darts or play ready-room cornhole, then it was up to Wikipedia to pass the time.

One article in particular stands out. Read the wiki article on the bonobo ape...specifically the part about sexual behavior. I laughed so hard I nearly cried the first time I read it.
