Without anything to date these photos other than the fact that everything was so clean and it's a Saturn V on the crawler, I thought we were sending up a large payload to Mars

I wish I had taken that beast for a flight. Somewhere around 8 million pounds of thrust and fuel consumption somewhere around 15 to 20 tons PER SECOND. That's what it takes to get three human bodies and a couple of lightweight vehicles to the moon.

our middle school was like a mini ncsu - pretty much all bricks. in science class one time we counted bricks and did a volume calculation to approximate the weight of the bricks of the school. all this was to find out if a saturn V could lift our school off the ground
