is on the nets

this thread is for discussing how awesome it is that you can still put together a group like this in 2009

of all of the group members, im most happy to see royce finally fully utilized. dude has been so sick for YEARS, and is finally just getting to let loose and have fun. you can hear it in his rhymes, much less I WILL SLAP YOUR ASS IN CHURCH AND APOLOGIZE TO JESUS LATER PUNK and more lighter playful rhymes. FTW

what i love most about them teamed together is i can make legitimate arguments for all of them >>>> eachother (well usually except for royce, he always brings the best bars, except I think Crooked I wins "The One")

the Not Tonight track is the same beat from the first track off Padded Room, but a little bit extra layered on top, and then the other three plus Joey...different verse from him though

as much as i love slaughterhouse i think these dudes might be too nice for thier own good. i find myself listening to only the first half of every song bc they spit like 96 bars each. i get tired of the beat

Royce and Budden are my 2 picks out of the group. I don't really care for Ortiz. But one thing that bugs me about these guys in general is the mixing seems off where the fuckin beat is too loud. I'm not against loud music, but I shouldnt have to strain to discern lyrics.
