how can I change the security settings of a pdf file? I'm converting pptx to pdf with cutepdf, I have adobe reader 9

I've googled and read everything I could imagine - from having to buy special software, to needing the pro version of adobe, to simply going into the security settings and changing them (which doesn't seem right, since I can't change them).

I just need to prevent copy/paste, etc.

good luck with that...PDF is a false sense of security (but then, i guess you're really only giving this to people who aren't capable of or don't have the motivation to go around the "security" settings)

also, i'm pretty sure you won't find those features in a free package...adobe pro does it, though (obviously)...foxit might: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/

thanks. I don't care how well it works. I know plenty of people can get around it quite easily. However, I'm required to at least disable it to say that I tried to cover my butt.
