it doesn't have nearly the influence that declaring yourself "in a relationship" on facebook does.

I got back into the dating scene recently and literally every single girl that I took out on a few dates asked me if and when we could become Facebook Official.

What the fuck is happening America?

Oh yeah, back to the thread, I usually Click maybe too.

Whenever I make a facebook event for programs with the youth group I run, I tell them saying yes on facebook doesn't count

Yeah, lol. Completely agree with you there.

Instead of getting girls numbers, I'm getting their facebook and myspace accounts? wtf? I've actually gotten business cards from a few girls of just their picture and their name and facebook account link... THATS IT?!?!

And no, they did not facebook friend me!

Oh and this one time, I met this random guy at one of the import tuner parties and he gives me his card with just his myspace account link. And I go, 'wtf is this, where's your contact info? why just have your myspace link not even your name?' and he responds 'people know me, when I say I show up to an event, like 200 people follow'. That was the saddest thing I've ever seen. And he was a white 28 year old guy, not even asian.

When I had a normal cell phone I got numbers; now that I have an iPhone I get told to Facebook them on the spot.

I can't tell whether I like the shift or not.

Putting 'maybe' is just a polite 'no'

I had a scare today. There was a conflict of schedule on 2 'yes' clicks. I quickly clicked a maybe...then a definite 'no' for the least desirable.
