What's your favorite frequent traveler rewards program?

I'm a Starwood Preferred Guest fanatic, myself. Moments auctions are friggin sweet. http://www.moments.com

Southwest used to be my preferred airline, but I'm really not sure that their rewards program is really that rewarding.

Marriott Rewards is great because it offers access to around 2,600 hotels in more than 60 countries. Tons of options.
SPG only offers access to 960 hotels in more than 95 countries.

With Marriott, you can't combine cash and points to book rooms.
SPG has won the most Freddie Awards, but that could be because of poll skewing.

Well, I'm spoiled (even though I'm 27) but my Dad travels all around the world for work constantly and so they have Hilton HHonors points out the ass. And I use them every time I travel for pleasure. LOVE the Tahoe Embassy Suites!

I also have Marriott Rewards points from work because when I travelled within California, I only stayed with them.

I'm not a fan of most Hilton brands. Other than Waldorf-Astoria, of course.

We're finally getting one in Orlando. I'm psyched! http://www.waldorfastoria.com/search/property-details.cfm?intPropertyId=23

Well, if you don't like Embassy Suites, then you're wrong.

Free happy hour and free full hot breakfast ftw... and guaranteed to have a nice swimming pool area and awesome room...

^^ me? Well my Dad has well over 45 free nights saved up at Hilton brands... But he spent three years travelling and staying at Hilton in Japan, Singapore, Brazil and domestically for weeks at a time... the kicker is that because he travels so much my parents don't like to go on regular hotel vacations. They solely go on cruises, so the free nights mostly come to my sister and I...

I'm kind of a Westin and W Hotels snob.

W Hotels whenever possible: http://www.starwoodhotels.com/whotels/index.html

Though a free breakfast is always nice. I'm a girl and can usually finagle a free breakfast.

Is Bora Bora the place with the huts over the water? Do people go there on non-Honeymoon trips actually?

My neighbor is going to Bora Bora alone for the great snorkeling and scuba diving.

I LOVE the overwater huts. They have glass floors that can be lit to attract fish. An incredible view.

I would love to stay at a W in Chicago. The one in San Diego is super cute and turns into a nightclub on Saturdays. Very sexy hotel brand. Can't wait to check out the W's in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale as well.
